Ewan Mclennan, winner of the 2013 AHMT Songs for Social Justice Award, has written and recorded a song called “Lampedusa”, about the journey of a migrant crossing the Mediterranean.

To quote Ewan:
“It’s a kind of response to the ongoing refugee crisis.”

All proceeds from the download of the track go to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontiers – a fantastic charity whose work includes carrying out rescue operations in the Mediterranean, where many of the migrant’s boats are going down.
