The Choir from The People’s Past People’s Future Group, based in Rutherglen, will be singing Alistair’s rousing “Mrs Barbour’s Army” at the unveiling of the Mary Barbour Memorial next to Govan subway station at 11:00 on International Women's Day, Thursday 8th March. Grant Award for Choir Film Documentary

The Alistair Hulett Memorial Trust has made an award to assist with the expenses involved in making a documentary film aboutProtest in Harmony https://www.protestinharmony.org.uk/, a radical community choir based in Edinburgh. AHMT to promote Govanhill Against Racism Festival

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Rock Against Racism movement, Alistair Hulett Memorial Trust are delighted to announce a two-day festival at the historic Queens Park Arena in Glasgow's Southside. Ewan McLennan’s “Lampedusa”

Ewan Mclennan, winner of the 2013 AHMT Songs for Social Justice Award, has written and recorded a song called "Lampedusa", about the journey of a migrant crossing the Mediterranean. To quote Ewan: "It's a kind of response to the ongoing refugee crisis."
